While we built Totally Wired’s reputation within the iconic Terrace Houses in Dunedin’s Stuart Street for many years, we moved to a home showroom and on-line model in 2017. This offers you many advantages; Waitati is just 15 minutes from the Dunedin CBD in a tranquil semi rural setting with ample parking, we’re able to lavish time and attention on you while demonstrating components and system within a real home. Great views and friendly animals are a bonus.

The people (and animals) behind Totally Wired. John Ransley and Carolijn Guytonbeck are both University of Otago graduates and have chosen to build a life here in Otago. Outside of Totally Wired and music we share a range of interests especially tramping and kayaking in the South Island. We reside on a former farm, on which we have engaged in a revegetation program with the Halo Project and have greatly enjoyed the resurgence of birdlife and improvements in river water quality. Carolijn also works as a specialist tutor at the university and John as director with NZAVS – the New Zealand Antivivisection Society.
When you visit you’ll be able to meet (at present count) Pyewacket the cat who features on our website, 12 pampered Hereford cows, and 18 freeloading muscovy ducks plus a plethora of native birdlife.
