This is perhaps the most famous of SpeakerCraft technology which has made them leaders in their field. As the name suggests the whole speaker within it’s casing can be pivoted to aim the sound where you need it. Perfect to get the sound just right no matter what your room acoustics, seating arrangements or limitations on speaker placement may be. The Aim speakers are made with advanced materials and bullet–proof build quality. They come in a variety of sizes with differing performance levels to meet your particular expectations. The better of them include equalisation switches so bass and treble can be adjusted to perfect the sound even further. Within the range you can mix and match whilst keeping the correct timbre level. The Aim speakers are just a part of the full SpeakerCraft range however we have focused on them here as they are favourites of ours and we have done many successful installations with them.
One of the challenges of in-ceiling speaker design is to avoid having the sound pointing straight down. Dispersion is required. SpeakerCraft’s unique WavePlane technology spreads the sound. In addition to the pivoting low–frequency driver, the tweeter also pivots, improving the perspective options further again. Aim in–ceiling speakers range from around NZ$ 500 for a single dual tweeter speaker to NZ$ 2,500 a pair.
This is the Aim LCR series. These versatile speakers can be set up vertically or horizontally. They have a wonderful full range sound and you wouldn't feel let down if your situation required speakers that took up no space. Aim LCR speakers range from around NZ$ 500 to NZ$ 1,600 a pair.
A home theatre system would typically use three LCRs for front speakers and two in–ceiling speakers for the rears. A surround sound speaker array such as this would range in price from around NZ $1,500 to NZ $3,200.
Outside of the Aim range Speakercraft produce many models to suit most requirements and budgets. Just tell us your needs and we’ll give you the best solution.
