Tēnā koutou katoa. Welcome to our latest Totally Wired newsletter from Ōtepoti, Te Waipounamu.
NuPrime may be the high end offshoot of NuForce but that isn't stopping them designing killer products at seriously affordable prices.
The new IDA-8 Digital integrated amplifier is a case in point - the performance is nothing short of astonishing, not to mention a huge lot of fun with 100 watts to play with. Add in analogue and wireless connectivity, and you have a compact high performance amplifier that will work in many systems.
This is easily the best amplifier we have ever heard for less (in fact quite a lot less) than NZ$2000. Read our take on this great new amplifier here.
Monitor Audio Bronze
The new Bronze series from Monitor Audio give an astounding level of performance well ahead of anything we’ve heard before at the entry level. The aesthetics are on par with their premium speakers.
With a full range of great models from $570 to $1700 the pair, including subwoofer and centre options plus 3 finishes to choose from, these may very well be your next speakers.
The first review out - "For their size, these speakers dig deep in the bass; they’re tonally balanced and impressively detailed too. Add fine build and Monitor Audio’s usual high standard of finish and there’s much to applaud here"

James Bellaney Exhibition
Our exhibiting artist James Bellaney has produced an engaging new body of work for his exhibition ‘Riders of the Storm’ which Carolyn has helped organise at Moray Gallery.
He says,...”the meaning is open for interpretation according to one’s personal journey, allowing the viewer to connect with each artwork in their own unique way”.
If you can't get to the exhibition you can still view it on line by clicking on the link above.
That's all from us this month - Spring is just around the corner and we've got some very cool new products on the way - Sonus faber headphones, more from NuPrime and a few extra special surprises. A tōnā wā e hoa.
