Buying From Totally Wired
Totally Wired is a long established business with stable ownership and a physical shop in Dunedin (we believe everyone should know who they are dealing with when buying on the Internet). Your e-mails are answered by the two directors of the company and you are welcome to phone us personally to confirm any details and answer any questions you may have. We are more than happy to refer you to existing clients both in New Zealand and around the world who have purchased from us so you can be sure of your decision to deal with us.
How To Order
Once you’ve made your decision and are ready to order, we’ll make it easy for you. Either phone us on 0800 909–101 or e-mail and we can get your address and all details confirmed. Payment with order by Credit Card is your safest and easiest option. Internet banking is also an option if you prefer. If you’re overseas the currency conversion is taken care of by your credit card company.

Delivery Within New Zealand
In most cases we courier for free. And even giftwrap if it’s a present for a special someone. Any item under NZ$ 100 incurs a NZ$ 5 p&p fee. The courier is expected to be 1–2 working days within the South Island and 1–3 to the North Island with an extra day if it’s a rural address. Note that the courier needs a street address where someone is available to sign for the delivery.
Short of time? We can do an overnight courier for NZ$ 20 with smaller packages like Tivoli Radios. The overnight courier can also deliver to Post Box addresses. Some small parcels may go FastPost as will anything that can only be delivered to a Post Box. Some large or special priced items may incur a delivery fee but this is the exception to the rule and we will discuss this with you first.
Delivery Overseas
Totally Wired has a proven reputation for our service to overseas customers. We are happy to send overseas and do so particularly with the New Zealand made brands. We will do all the required documentation for customs and anything else needed to make it easy for you. There are some instances where we are obliged to honour agreements with distributors in other countries and simply refer you to them.
Currency and Prices
Our prices are in New Zealand dollars (NZ$) and include GST. We will give you a set price which includes freight and insurance. The NZ$ is a floating currency and rates can change from day to day. We are happy to give you estimates in your preferred currency. You will need to check if you will be billed for possible import duty in your country. Payment with order ensures you are protected from fluctuations in rates and freight costs. If paying by credit card a phone call to your bank to let them know to expect the payment going out to us will add to your security and is often required anyway.
How Your Product Is Shipped Overseas
Components are thoroughly checked by us, complete documentation including manuals, quality control sheets, warranty information and export information included and repacked securely. With the New Zealand made brands we’ll often order direct from the factory for you to ensure you get the latest version, correct voltage with your chosen finish and option choices. Because these are high quality handmade products there may sometimes be a small lead time to complete assembly and quality testing. At times we’ll be able to supply immediately from our new stock or current orders. Large items usually are by courier with DHL or TNT with door to door, signed delivery and website tracking. Smaller items are airmailed via New Zealand Post. All deliveries are insured. To ensure everything runs smoothly we need from you your delivery address including the postal or zip code and phone number/s. Your normal postal or residential address if this differs from the delivery address plus a fax number if available. In our experience our deliveries are usually with you in 3-7 days after leaving our door.
Your Warranty
We stand behind the products we export just as we would those we sell locally. You have normal warranty cover on all new components from us. Because freight is so fast (typically less than 7 days to anywhere in the world) and we make no charges on warranty repair, the best solution should the unthinkable occur is return to us where we can promise fast turnaround.
