Metz TVs are well equipped for all types of reception, digital (on–board terrestrial as well as satellite), and analogue, all of which incorporate sophisticated signal processing. State of the art technology ensures they are high definition, HDTV, capable with full HD resolution. Visually clear on Metz TVs is their photographic picture quality with extraordinary brightness and contrast. Metz utilises only the very best of LED engineering. This, in combination with all the other advanced image processing technology employed by Metz results in unmatched picture quality. The unique Metz mecavisionHD+ technology produces captivating images with outstanding sharpness and brilliant colour. The 200–Hertz dynamic motion results in noticeably clear, sharp motion sequences that are absolutely smooth, even on complex images such as text and elaborate patterns (with the exception of the ultra#ndashthin'Caleo' model which is 100Hz). Another Metz technology, dynamic backlight or LUX, produces perfect contrast by automatically adjusting the brightness levels according to the ambient light conditions. Metz televisions display films (e.g. in Blu-ray format) in their pure unadulterated form with 24 pictures (24p) per second – the exact picture frequency used to record and store films and show them in the cinema. Add to this mecasound+ for resonant sound that can clearly be heard. Plus SRS WOW signal processing 3-D sound technology.

User Features

Your Metz television is equipped with an array of modern day features to enhance the your everyday lifestyle. Twin tuners for picture in picture and each television has either in–built personal recorders with easy to use timeshift; or timeshift itself. Time shift allows you pause the progromme you’re watching and come back to it later; or allows you to 'hold' one program whilst you watch another. It will revolutionize the way you watch television giving you more freedom. If your chosen model does not include a personal recorder you have the option of having fitted either at the outset or later. Multiple in–puts including three HDMI connections means you won't be limited to what you can connect to your TV at any one time. You can also view your photos via USB. For those fans of Teletext you'll love the Metz fast search system.

A Metz television saves energy by incorporating peripheral boxes such as digital tuners and hard disk recorders. The automatic backlight control lowers screen brightness when not required and they have an extremely low consumption standby mode.
