Music4Mauis is an initiative from Gemma McGrath, a Masters student in Science for Communication at Otago University. All the New Zealand featured artists have donated their work. It is a lovely compilation of music and would appeal to all listening tastes.
The 11 tracks come from Ragamuffin Children, Don McGlashan, Pitch Black, Fur Patrol, Minuit, Sola Rosa, The Black Seeds, Gasoline Cowboy, The Bads, Flip Garter and Ariana Tokao. Gemma has combined her two loves, music and marine conservation. "Proceeds go towards more dolphin research and ocean conservation initiatives, raising awareness and restoring health and harmony to our endangered taonga species."

For us music was where it all started – Totally Wired that is. Like most teenagers it was great for us to have music even if it was from a small, bad sounding tape deck or radio. Discovering good music systems is like an exploration of the senses. The better the music system, the greater the emotional involvement. Live for the moment, enjoy life! Our philosophy – if nothing else have the best music system you can afford. You deserve it and those in your household will reap the benefits of it too.
Excellent HiFi and excellent music recordings go hand in hand so we are pleased to have this association with Music4Mauis. The other connection of course being our enjoyment of New Zealand’s breathtaking natural environment.
