‘Wonderful sound improvement. This may sound a little strange... it almost seems like my music lasts longer and is in slow motion!. Even tried the hair dryer trick on the end of the cables so they wrap themselves around the connections properly. Great. It’s amazing how one clever cable makes my system at least 5 times better! Especially good with electronic music and Enigma!Thank you. What a pleasant surprise!’ – Stephen Dunbar
‘The Slinkylinks have taken a lot of the harshness out of the some of the acoustic tracks that I enjoy listening to. My main reference CD is Annie Crummer “Language” and that just jumps out of the speakers, with excellent clarity and warm deep bass. I am exploring a lot of my old CDs that were not up for much before, so it is like an 80’s revival feast at home The Jam, The Stranglers, Dexies, Graham Parker, Pere UBU. I am having fun.’
‘I spent about 3 hours listening to these new Slinky interconnect cables & they sound fantastic. Sure I will try their speaker cables & even buy more interconnects later’
‘I have just purchased some of these and am blown away! These put my kimber Select KS20/20 to shame. More detail, clarity and bass. If their speaker leads compare, then this has to be cheapest audiophile upgrade I have made to my system.’
‘In summary, the Slinkylinks is a truly fantastic world-class audiophile speaker cable at a commendably affordable price. They outperformed all the other speaker cables that I have evaluated. I would have to seriously think twice about spending more money to get a better speaker cable. If I ever owned a more expensive system I am confident that the Slinkylinks would be up to the task.’ – Tone magazine review.

“Hi John & Sharon,
I have lived with the new Slinkylinks for a couple of months now. Perhaps a good indication of their affect on my music is that when I have music playing in the background I often get dragged into listening, unable to tear myself away and thinking how amazing it sounds. It just seems to float out of the air and envelope me in subtle, intricate detail and clarity. Now every time I play music I have that warm glow of satisfaction with the sound. It was never like that before. I have also played a few gigs and people have remarked how good the sound is. The previous link from mixer to amplifier was always a concern for me, now I have absolute confidence in that Slinkylink.
The Amphenol TRS plugs not only look great but they fit into the mixer jacks with a very satisfying firm snap and there is no free movement in the jacks once the plugs are bedded into the jacks – very nice. The silver finish on the Amphenol TRS and XLR plugs has the look of quality and obviously does it’s job extremely well.
The black mesh finish on the cables has a suggestion of mesh stockings. On the day I picked them up, one of the girls in the office was wearing black mesh tights. I showed the others in my section my new purchase. Now, in our section, black mesh tights have the nickname of Slinkylinks.
The cables seem to handle flexing from the sliding mixer drawer without a worry and work better than I had hoped.
Thank you John and Sharon for being so helpful and so available on the “Net” and giving me the opportunity to purchase a great product.
Thank you to Slinkylinks for putting the effort in to obtain the TRS plugs I required and custom building the TRS to XLR configuration I asked for. Being a New Zealand product makes it even more special.
The service and customer focus of both Totally Wired and Slinkylinks is absolutely first class.
Thanks a lot. Ron Jefcoate”
